Living on Singer Island is “a dream come true” for many of its residents!  We can attest that our years here living on this beautiful island and working as The McAdams Team in Singer Island Real Estate has been some of the best years of our lives.  We enjoy helping others find this same type peaceful island experience!

We do know, however, that as much as you may love living on Singer Island there may come a time that you need to sell your Singer Island luxury condo or vacation home.  As Singer Island Real Estate agents, we hate to see you move away, but want you to know that we can help you with the sale of your Singer Island getaway!  Our extensive selling strategies, along with our years of experience allow us to ensure a smooth home selling process

Below are five tips can help your home stand out from others on the Singer Island Real Estate market and may result in a quicker home sale.

1.  Sell your home fully furnished - If you are not selling your property fully furnished, you may be at a disadvantage. Many buyers like to buy a vacation home "turn-key," with sheets on the beds, silverware in the drawer and artwork on the walls.

2.  Stage your vacation home - Sellers often overlook the importance of staging their second homes to look like a cozy retreat. Buyers are turned off by clutter, outdated decor and old furnishings. A fresh coat of paint, a new comforter on the bed and some nice accessories can be inexpensive.  Remember to take care of any repairs or maintenance; vacation home buyers don't want the hassle.

3. Offer a trial run - Vacation home buyers often stay in a hotel while they're looking for a property to purchase. Tell your Singer Island Real Estate agent that potential buyers can stay in your vacation home for a nominal fee. What better way for a buyer to fall in love with your property than to stay there for a weekend?

4.  Share your resources - For many vacation home buyers, the thought of finding service providers in an unfamiliar area is daunting. Have your Singer Island Real Estate agent mention in their marketing that you have housekeepers, maintenance workers or property managers lined up.

5.  If it's not selling, consider renting it - Renting out your house by the night or by the week while it's on the market can help cover your expenses until the house sells.  As Singer Island Real Estate agents, we can guide through this process as well and help you determine if renting is the best option for you!

We hope these tips are helpful as you think about selling your Singer Island home!  As always, we’re here to answer any questions you may have and would be happy to assist you in the sale of your home! Please let us know if you have any questions or are ready to take the next step in selling your home on Singer Island.  We hope to hear from you soon!
